Birdflip is our account on Twitter/X and it's purpose has been to educate others on the benefits of Bitcoin in self custody. Most of our work is viewed as open-source memes, with some being shared by notable figures like Adam Back, Samson Mow, Stacey Herbert and other luminaries within Bitcoin.
Bitcoin as a brand is one of the strongest in the world, but wearing Bitcoin can be risky, as many stories exist of individuals targeted due to the possibility they are holding on to some Bitcoin that can be stolen.
Birdflip gear, in contrast, offers a way to wear your enthusiasm and conviction for Bitcoin publicly, without the threat of a $5 wrench attack. We believe "Sats" are also misunderstood to the general public. We encourage you to be outspoken about Bitcoin but clever in your approach and thoughtful to whom you speak. Everyone will get Bitcoin at the price they deserve, and thankfully you and us have found it earlier than 99% of the world.
